Ongoing project for FUSE Careers in the Human Resources industry for a B2C audience since 2019.Social media marketing can be a perfect way to increase visibility with audiences that can be difficult to find. One recent example is from a new client that provides career guidance and coaching for university students. Selling career coaching to students is not easy; it's a long sell involving many data points on the prospect's journey. A lot of businesses can relate to this.Making matters more complicated, even though the ultimate customer is the student, it's the parents of the students who pay for the service. Because visibility to polar opposite demographic segments is necessary for success, our strategy was to gain higher visibility with the search engines and on two social media networks where both audiences could be located. The rationale? Both audiences use search engines for discovery. Educational influencers and university students use Twitter. No one can escape Facebook ads.We used three primary digital marketing tactics to get the job done: organic social media, paid social media, and SEO. These three tactics worked together to not only improve visibility with Google searchers, but with parents of adult children on Facebook and University students and their advisers on Twitter.The data we collected throughout the campaign provides remarkable insights into how we use each of the social platforms differently and combine SEO for that extra special sauce.
Project made for Western Media Group in the Media industry for a B2B audience in 2017.We launched programmatic audio in Canada using organic social media.The campaign was highly successful. It contributed to 31 new clients that generated hundreds of thousands in revenue and a significant amount of recurring monthly revenue. The entire campaign was delivered using organic methods.We relied on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Plus and Medium over a 4 month period using a combination of social media marketing, SEO and content marketing.To achieve the objectives of our client, we wrote 92 different social media posts about programmatic audio and mixed them in with a stream of 800 other posts. The idea was that people would not be aware that it was a campaign.We then conducted aggressive audience development activities to target and "get in the feed" of desirable targets.
